Marianne Massa is the Head of the Health Promotion Unit.
As a Principal Health Promotion Officer, Ms Massa has worked extensively in developing Health Promotion locally by establishing the settings approach, taking Health Promotion initiatives to schools, workplaces and the Community.
Ms Massa specialises primarily in the promotion of health of children and young people, carries out research in the field and plans and implements strategies for children. Ms Massa has also developed initiatives in cancer prevention, targeting mainly breast cancer and skin cancer.
Ms Massa is a part time lecturer at the University of Malta.
