The National Family Commission, (also known as KNF - Kummissjoni Nazzjonali Familja) within the Ministry for the Family and Social Solidarity, was set up in 2001. One of the main objectives of the Commission is to advise Government and to suggest appropriate measures so as to promote the well being of Maltese families, in the context of the rapid social changes that are taking place.
